Screen Shot 2015-10-16 at 15.23.56Cala Canneddi is situated in the small town of Isola Rossa in the Trinità D’Agultu and Vignola area. The seafront boasts fine, clear-white sands, with multicolored pebbles at the water’s edge, and extremely magnificent, majestic dark red rocks of various shapes and sizes. On the Punta Li Canneddi, before the Costa di Tinnari, the Cala Rossa beach can be found immersed in incredible natural surroundings, between the whitest sands, pink rocks coloured by quartz crystals, and a sea of clear waters.

How to get there

Leave Sa Mariola, follow the road towards Tempio. Then veer towards the left on to the motorway 133 and proceed in the direction of Isola Rossa. The beach can be accessed by following directions for Monte Tinnari along a private track that continues down towards the beach.

Information

The presence of rocks and stones on the sea bottom means that this area is not suitable for bathing or children’s games. There is a large car park, hotel, restaurant and bar. Parasols, deck chairs, boats and pedalos are available for hire. The varied seabed is full of fish and therefore much appreciated by those who enjoy scuba diving and snorkeling.
